Contra III: The Alien Wars is a sidescrolling Shooter released in April of 1992 by Konami for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The series began with Contra and continued with many other titles.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Contra III competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game CIII speedrun is 17 minutes and 0 seconds, achieved by Mike Uyama on September 11th, 2005.
