Quake is an FPS released in May of 1996 by id Software for the PC. The series continued with Quake 2.
Speedrun
The Speed Demos Archive has hosted endless Quake competition ever since the game's inception. There are so many different speedrun completed and available or currently in progress that it hurts just to think about.
