Max Payne is a Third Person Shooter released in July of 2001 by Remedy Entertainment for the PC, Playstation 2, and Microsoft Xbox. The series continued with Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.
Speedrun
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Max Payne competition. The current proven World Record Speedrun for Max Payne are as follows:
Best Dead on Arrival (hardest difficulty) time: single-segment 1:01:08 by 'ridd3r' on 2010-03-19. Best New York Minute time: 25:34 completed in 63 segments by 'ridd3r' on 2010-09-05.
