Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening is an Action/Fantasy released in March of 2005 by Capcom for the Playstation 2. The series began with the original Devil May Cry, and continued with the additions made to DMC3 in the Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition.

The Speed Demos Archive hosts Devil May Cry 3 competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game DMC3 speedrun is 2 hours and 14 minutes, achieved by James "Psychochild" Conway on December 31st, 2005.
