Easiest is to take 1-0-1, as for the tornado on the second lap, but it also is possible to do 0-1-1 or 1-1-0. Take the turbo boost at the start and after a quick R, go driving into the light sand. Do a R again, two R's around the rock and another R. Then two L's to get out of the sand. You can cross the sand on the Pokey's while doing an [[SSMT]], it doesn't really slow down, it actually beats up almost a split second per Pokey. Then you should drive a bit in the dark sand as you get a little straight road after the second last Pokey. Fastest is with MT, but you don't really need to do the MT. When slowing down to 40s or 30s, quick use the shroom and cut off as many as possible. Don't cut to much off, because you will stuck into the sand then for a split second. A good tactic is to building an SSMT up to the left (right facing) and when shrooming stops , release it (I should say something like slowing down to 30s).

Same as one shroomers, but just before the end where you cut off the light sand, use your shroom to cut off the dark sand too. Just watch out you don't do it too early, as you will be stuck in red sand in that case. This trick saves about 1 second.

Dry Dry Desert (aka DDD) is Mario Kart: Double Dash!!'s fourth course, and Mushroom Cup's fourth course.

3 Lap

For all Hero times

1-1-0 : 31.1 - 30.3 - 32.0 = 1.33.4

1 SHROOMER.

Turbo boost and take 1 R in the straight way. Another which leads to sand , then take 3 R around the rock. Another R and you're able to get out of the dirt. A L around first Pokey , and a R around the second. Ride into the sand straight ahead (a metre or so off the red sand) and stay riding in it till 0.4 / 0.7 seconds.
