The [[Speed Demos Archive]] hosts Donkey Kong Country 2 competition.  The current proven [[World Record]] for a complete-game 102% DKC2 speedrun is 1 hour and 31 minutes, achieved by Jean-Philippe "[[Jean-Philippe Gilbert|Ounaya]]" Gilbert on December 30th, 2004.  The record for a Hard mode, non-102% completion on the Game Boy Advance version of the game is held by James "[[James Conway|Psychochild]]" Conway, who finished in 56 minutes on March 15th, 2005.
