The Triple-tapping A Acceleration Ability is mostly useful for elite karters. Tap the A button thrice (x3) to activate the fast acceleration!

Useful Shortcut Characters
- Lightweights (Peach, Toad, and Yoshi)
Fully useful on both 3laps and flaps
- Bowser
Mostly useful on flaps (WS, DKJP, and LR), some players use him on the spiral shortcut of Rainbow Road
- Mario
Moderately useful on 3laps (WS and DKJP) and rarely flaps (CM and RRd)
- Luigi
Rarely useful on 3laps (WS and DKJP)
- Wario

- Donkey Kong

Conclusion
Toad > Yoshi > Peach > Bowser > Wario > Donkey Kong > Luigi > Mario
Toad has the fastest Triple Tapping A ability and Mario is the worst but however Mario/Luigi has better handling & off road acceleration than Bowser.
- Donkey Kong and Wario has slower speed than Bowser and Luigi
