'''Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest''' is a Platformer released in November of 1995 by Rare for the [[:Category:SNES games|Super Nintendo Entertainment System]].  The series began with [[Donkey Kong Country]] and continued with [[Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble]].  DKC2 was ported to the [[:Category:GBA games|Game Boy Advance]] in June of 2004, with a few changes.

== Speed Runs ==

The [[Speed Demos Archive]] hosts Donkey Kong Country 2 competition.  The current proven [[World Record]] for a complete-game 102% DKC2 speedrun is 1 hour and 31 minutes, achieved by Jean-Philippe "[[Jean-Philippe Gilbert|Ounaya]]" Gilbert on December 30th, 2004.  The record for a Hard mode, non-102% completion on the Game Boy Advance version of the game is held by James "[[James Conway|Psychochild]]" Conway, who finished in 56 minutes on March 15th, 2005.

This is unofficial because of using emulator, but 1 hour and 25 minutes, the record of 102% DKC2 speedrun, was achieved by FIS(Japan) on September 26th, 2009.
