The [[Speed Demos Archive]] hosts Resident Evil competition.  The current proven [[World Record]] for a complete-game low percentage speedrun as Jill is 1 hour, 9 minutes and 17 seconds, achieved by Brandon "[[Brandon Armstrong|19Duke84]]" Armstrong on May 28th, 2005.  The record for best Arrange-mode run as Chris is 1 hour, 36 minutes and 22 seconds, while the best Arrange-mode completion as Jill is 1 hour, 29 minutes and 5 seconds.  Both times were achieved by Damien "[[Damien Moody|Dragondarch]]" Moody in October of 2004.
