The [[Speed Demos Archive]] hosts Mega Man X competition.  The current proven [[World Record]] for a complete-game MMX speedrun is 34 minutes and 9 seconds, achieved by [[Freddy Andersson]] on March 18th, 2007.  He also set the record for fastest 100% completion, 39 minutes and 41 seconds, on June 7th, 2006.
