For 7 months DL was completely inactive from the gaming community, including social networking sites like Facebook and others.  The reason was because of equipment failure, inlcuding a networking breakdown on the main computer, and at one point the tower sparked and caused a fire, destroying the Motherboard and other vital pieces of technology for the computer network.  At the same time, the PS2 had a fan failure which caused it to overheat, and simultaneously the Nintendo Gamecube fell off a stand and was damaged beyond repair.

Following exactly 15 years of consecutive pro-speedrunning, DarkLight93 officially gained his 50'th and final Speedrunning championship on August 6, 2012. The game that gave him his career winning goal was actually a updated version of the game that started it all. 007 Goldeneye Reloaded, for the PS3.

Following this extreme huge milestone, DL was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Veteran Pro Speed Runners, gained the insanely difficult rank "Ultimate Gamer" (which only 3 other people have ever reached), and also closed out his Speedrunning career with the project "Project BlackFire Part IV: End of Days.

After returning from a 2 month break, DL returned along with the newly developed WBYD, destroying the UGA, 777, and Industry, and declaring war on KSI, DHG, and even the MLG. All the chaos and clan wars closed out the 8'th generation, and went straight into the brand new 9'th Generation, with WBYD and the brand new Halo 4.

Let me say this: Metroid Prime is in my top 5 most favorite games of all time. As I went through this game for 6 years, the size of the game, and the atmosphere is breathless. I completed this game full 100%, and then came the real challenge: Speed Run.

This game is long, very long. Even without 100%. I completed my first successful speedrun of the game in 1:55:43 on March 9, 2002. I then went through and completed other speedruns, eventually getting satisfied with the time of 1:26:19 on June 17, 2007.

The final part of the massive project of Grand Theft Auto was secret hunting. There was few gameplay hours, but more so of information and walkthroughs. There really will be no end for GTA San Andreas, but as far as gameplay is concerned, it is finished. The revolution that this game made is extraordinary.
