On 150cc Grand Prix Leyla kept the momentum up and managed to take on faster rivals helping her to reach 12th. She had a Top 16 match vs France's Geoffrey Label who is a former medallist. She won a cup after a good strategy involving a green shell on Vanilla Lake 1, but lost 2-1.

== Return to NTSC Time Trials in 2017 ==
Leyla made a return to NTSC Time Trials in late 2017 to revamp her old timeset but with NBT. She has hit some high level records on Mushroom and Flower Cup towards the end of the year and landed her first ever UK Record on NTSC with 11.83 seconds on Mario Circuit 2 lap.
