Following exactly 15 years of consecutive pro-speed running, DarkLight93 offically gained his 50'th and final Speed Running championship on August 6, 2012. The game that gave him his career winning goal was actually a updated version of the game that started it all. 007 Goldeneye Reloaded, for the PS3.

The Global Rankings and DL's Speed Running Song of The Year for 2013 will be on August 5, 2012. Be sure to check to see DL's rank and to see which song will win to be the 2013 Speed Run Song of the Year.

Following this extreme huge milestone, DL was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Veteran Pro Speed Runners, gained the insanely difficult rank "Ultimate Gamer" (which only 3 other people have ever reached), and also closed out his Speed Running career with the project "Project BlackFire Part IV: All Fall Down.

 

Don't start freaking out though, DL is still in the game for Competitive titles, and will return later this year back on the home turf, the Playstation Network.

DL was asked if there was anything he could do to help bring positive gaming back into the community. DL responded "Respect is a must. If people can't respect one another, then they should stay out of Pro Gaming Leagues". He also responded by saying "If it was up to me, about 60% of MLG players wouldn't be in it."
