When asked about why it was put on the not beaten list, DL did not say why, however he did say it wasnt because of the games high difficulty. (Back in 2003 Blast Corps was put on the list because of difficulty)

HOWEVER (And its moments like this that I love speed running), on June 5, 2012 DL went back and actually completed chapters 5-10, and is currently on Chapter 11 (out of 15). DL said "Screw this, lets go back and kick DS2 in the balls", and that is exactly what he is doing. Expect Dead Space 2 to be completed by July 13. (The game was taken off the not beaten list)

On June 21, 2012, DL peformed a '''"No Holds Barred"''' gaming session, which is basically going non-stop full effort in attempt to beat the campaign of a game.
DL completed Chapters 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 in 8 Hours on June 21, 2012. He completely tore apart the game, keeping supplied on Med Packs and Ammo. The Second DL completed Chapter 15 and finished the game, he along with 3 of his friends literally jumped up and started throwing things everywhere. The successful completion of Dead Space 2 was such a big deal because of the fact that now the only game DL has not beaten is Blast Corps.
Immediately following the celebration, DL took the game off the 'Not Beaten List", and also put it on the Inactive List. In adddition to all this, the game was ranked #2 most difficult games of all time, out of 50 other games. DL said that the only game harder to finish than Dead Space 2, is the infamous Blast Corps for Nintendo 64.
