The '''2006 Elite Summer Contest''' is known as ''The Everyone is Equal Edition''. 2006 differs from the previous three [[Elite Summer Contest]]s in that:
* Contestants are not ranked by seeds.
* The Former Champions are back.
* Randomly-placed matchups disallow vote rallying.
The Contest kicks off at midnight EST on '''Thursday, June 1st of 2006'''. To vote, Eliters can send the name of their daily choice to [[Ngamer]] over AOL Instant Messenger at '''ImNgamer''', or mail their choice to '''ngamer AT gmail DOT com'''. To be eligable to vote, one of three conditions must be met:
* Membership in the [[Goldeneye]] or [[Perfect Dark]] Elites.
* 100 posts on [[The Elite]] message boards.
* 20 hours logged in [[http://the-elite.net/chat.html The Elite Chatroom]].
If you are not sure of your eligability, contact Ngamer about your official status.
