Jim Barrett has always been the token fat ass for many years. Peaking at 270 lbs, Jim decided to start a diet at his new active job in August 2006. The diet quickly disappeared but Jim did remain active, losing 10 lbs over the next year to August 2007. During that month, Jim restarted his diet and stuck to it, and progressively shed the weight that had been with him for so long. His target weight was 220 lbs, marking a total loss of 50 lbs, which by itself would be a serious accomplishment. 220 came easy for Jim, so he lowered it to a number he's always wanted to attain, 199. As of May 2008, Jim reached that mark and has kept it off ever since. Some were startled to know that Jim Barrett actually has a neck and some basic muscle mass, which were previously hidden under the layers of fat that had covered Jim prior. As of June 28, 2009, Jimbo has kept to a steady exercise routine of weightlifting and cardio exercises when not at work; as a result Jim seems to look like a normal human being instead of resembling the common toothpick.

Jimbo has played host to 7 eliters, those being (in order) [[Jon Barber]], [[QB]], [[David Clemens]], [[Scott Abbey]], [[Neo]], [[Thomas Andrews]], and[[drag]], for various reasons, and has developed a friendship with most of those. Jon Barber spent the night prior to the Colts @ Packers game held on October 19, 2008. QB flew to Wisconsin to attend his very first Packers game vs the Carolina Panthers, held on November 31, 2008. Prior to the game, the 2008 GNC happened as well. David Clemens has visited Jimbo in consecutive years for the 2009 and 2010 Michigan meets held in Detroit MI, hosted by [[Eddie Lovins]]. Scott "Thingy" Abbey visited Jon Barber for the 2009 GNC, and made the trip up to Green Bay to attend a Packers game vs the San Francisco 49ers held on November 21, 2009. Paddy "Neo" Johanessen visited Jimbo during a giant vacation to the states (in route to the Virginia meet) to fulfill a dream of seeing Lambeau Field. This dream was accomplished in August 2010. Thomas Andrews visited Jimbo to attend a Packers game vs the Miami Dolphins on October 17, 2010, because it was a rare inter-conference matchup held at an affordable price! Eric "drag" Tapani spent the weekend with Jimbo in March 2011 because he was bowling in a league held literally 2 blocks away.
