[[Josh Lay]], the elite's token gambler and sports bettor (better known as QB), had shown a high interest in going to any game at Lambeau Field. The opportunity had arisen for Josh to snag the extra ticket that Jim had for the Panthers @ Packers game; and on November 29, the Philadelphia-suburb native flew into Green Bay for the sports experience of a lifetime. Jim and Josh stopped at Curly's Pub, the Packers Pro Shop, and got a good look at Lambeau Field the day before the game itself so Josh could soak in more of the game-time experience on that Sunday. The game itself was wild; Josh and Jim were seated on the 7th row right next to the south end zone! Momentum was swung many times, ultimately in Carolina's favor; and after Green Bay took the lead late in the 4th quarter, Steve Smith made a leaping grab to snag Jake Delhomme's desperation heave down to the 1 yard line. Green Bay would lose 35-31 as the snow started falling hard. Not only did Josh get to see his first Packers game, but he also starred in the 2008 version of the Grand National Championship: Sumo Edition, as we all made a trip to [[Jon Barber]]'s house that day.
