The [[Speed Demos Archive]] hosts Resident Evil 4 competition.  The current proven [[World Record]] for a complete-game RE4 speedrun on normal skill is 2 hour, 6 minutes and 24 seconds, achieved by [[Tim Bright]] on June 4th, 2005.  Tim also holds the record for best time with special weapons, at 1 hour, 59 minutes and 7 seconds.  The best European special weapons run is 1 hour, 51 minutes and 3 seconds by Tomi "[[Tomi Salo|sarou]]" Salo.
