This Maian pistol is a close analogue of the [[Falcon 2]] - eight rounds, medium damage, limitless semi-automatic fire rate. However, the reload sequence (where the gun absorbs the clip, like with the other Maian weapons) is a bit slower. The Phoenix's secondary mode is an exploding shot - the fireball is about as big as your head and can kill multiple enemies with the "blast effect." The fire rate for the exploding rounds is significantly slower.

As soon as the targets cross, shoot. Start with the first two. when the targets move and are almost touching, shoot the SECONDARY fire and they will both explode. Repeat for next 2 sets.
