Marius was also combined champion in mid-2005, and even though the title race between him, Jonathan Steel and Raphaël Ségas was a photo-finish, many considered him to be the stronger competitor at the time because he plays exclusively in 60Hz. He went inactive after becoming overall world champion (because he had to join the German Army for almost a year), and soon lost many places in the rankings. Oliver Peruch was the only 60Hz player during the last 2 years who was able to challenge Marius (30 WRs -> 9 WRs). But he made an impressive comeback in 2006 and has now 10 60Hz WRs with a very low AF of 2.21. | Marius was also combined champion in mid-2005, and even though the title race between him, Jonathan Steel and Raphaël Ségas was a photo-finish, many considered him to be the stronger competitor at the time because he plays exclusively in 60Hz.
