Max Bout made the change to controller style [[1.2]] after he (and all other Elite-Players) were convinced that this style of playing would definately be a faster way to run. he improved his times, and entered the top 30. His peak was on the 24th rank in time ranking. He also received the "player of the Month" award in 2001.
