Gunstar Heroes is a side-scrolling Shooter released in September of 1993 by Treasure for the Sega Genesis.

The Speed Demos Archive hosts Gunstar Heroes competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game GH speedrun on Expert mode is 41 minutes and 15 seconds, achieved by Mike Uyama on May 25th, 2005.
